ČESKÝ SPOLEK PRO PÉČI O ŽIVOTNÍ PROSTŘEDÍ (ČSPŽP)
THE CZECH ASSOCIATION FOR ENVIRONMENTAL CARE (CAEC)

ČSPŽP - CAEC is a voluntary, non-governmental, non-political, public beneficial civic association interested in science and technology. Its goal is to contribute to the achievement of an environment that is acceptable for healthy and sustainable develepment.

ČSPŽP - CAEC´s main activities are:

• education (lectures, corses, seminars, conferences, discussions, information´ exchange)
• publication activities (proceedings, special textsetc.)
• cooperation with the state administration, schools of all levels, scientific and technological institutions, experts and other organisations
• international cooperation with associations and organisations with similar interests (information, skills and knowledge exchange) - first of all the membership in EFAEP

The member base consists of individuals, collectives, exclusive and honourable members. Now it has 40 individual and 3 collective members - professionals in various management, scientific and technological branches or professionals in environmental educative activities.

ČSPŽP - CAEC is active in all of the Czech Republic. The administrative centre is on Novotného lávka 5, Praha 1.  This is also a centre for contacting professionals and the public engaged in environmental care.
