EU Green Capital & Green Leaf best practices reports online

Two new reports from EU Green Capitals and the Green Leaf award to showcase best practices to share across Europe. The good practices of applicant cities and the benchmarking their environmental performances represent stories that are worth sharing in Europe and beyond.  The reports are aimed at you the environmental professionals throughout Europe who work and advise cities throughout Europe. ENEP has been invited to help the Commission disseminate this information to inspire cities to action, showcase tried and tested environmental practices, and promote new technologies for supporting urban resource efficiency.  The case studies are wide in variety and include energy coaching in companies, the promotion of tap water, ultra-fast rechargeable electric city buses, projects to support local populations of butterflies and badgers: Just a few of the best practices collected in this year’s Good Practice Reports of the European Green Capital and European Green Leaf competitions. The brochures are a source of inspiration for other cities with the ambition to become more sustainable.

The examples in the report come from the cities that competed for the European Green Capital Award 2018 and the European Green Leaf 2017.
