Working Groups
| EMS Expert Group |
The members of the EMS Expert Group want to collect experiences and best practice solutions for the steering of environmental management systems in the different EU-countries by exchanging knowledge with business organisations and institutions. They aim to accumulate these knowledge in EFAEP and introduce it in European and International expert bodies, for example in ISO steering groups and the evaluation process of EMAS at EU-level.
Currently, the EMS Expert Group develops into a steering committee of several subgroups.
The EFAEP EMS Expert group was founded at the 1st December 2004 in Lyon. At present, members of the working group are the following EMS experts:
· Matthias Friebel, VNU, Germany (chairman)
· Martin Baxter, IEMA, Great Britain
· Arie de Graaf, VVM, Netherlands
· Jacques Salamitou, AFITE, France
· Dr. Rainer Feld, Germany
· Claude Lybeer, VDM, Begium

The next meeting is scheduled in 2008 at March, the 4th.
